Class Description
Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC) "APPROVED" Curriculum REALTORS® SAFETY COURSE - This class qualifies you for 3 (CE) Continuing Education Credits - "Other Safety Classes, May Not" Upon completion of this course, using lecture, group discussions, demonstrations, and videos, students will be able to describe the key elements critical for personal safety; describing actions to take to assure there safety when meeting with buyers and employ methods that enhance their security during appointment. MODULE 1: YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY At the conclusion of Module 1 the student should be able to: Discuss the perception of risk in real estate sales for the REALTORS® Give examples of personal protection methods used by REALTORS® Discuss criminal motivation Define situational awareness Describe Color Code of Awareness Discuss Response to Threats Identify Personal Safety Tools MODULE 2: SAFETY WITH BUYERS At the conclusion of Module 2 the student should be able to: Explain Standard Office best practices for first meetings Describe steps to take when arriving at a property Discuss some risk mitigation strategies to take during a showing Recognize Red Flags MODULE 3: SAFETY WITH SELLERS At the conclusion of Module 3 the student should be able to: Evaluate the elements of a prospect Outline the requirements for Open House and Model Home showing safety Describes risks of photo and virtual home tours
Cancellation Policy
Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a refund. Student cancellations will be assessed a 10% administration fee which will be deducted from the refund. Classes cancelled by students less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded. Students who do not show up to attend a class are not eligible for a refund but may be rescheduled if a future class is available. Students who do not attend all portions of a class are not eligible for a refund but may arrange with an instructor to attend another session.
