SOUTH ATLANTA FIREARMS TRAINING OFFERS THE ****BEST**** IN TOTAL FIREARM TRAINING. Suppose you take your firearm education/training seriously and seek a luxury and empowering experience complete with dedicated and knowledgeable instruction that 100% prioritizes safety and technique. In that case, this is the place, and these are the instructors for you. If you are a newbie to firearms, take a SAFT class. If you are experienced and want to improve your skills/current knowledge, take a SAFT class with Oliver & Lynette Price. This review is as thorough as it deserves to be. I am still so impressed with my experience at SAFT. I recently attended the 2-Day Basic Comprehensive Course as my first formal firearms dedicated training, and it was the most thorough and engaging training I could've ever attended. I received a plethora of texts/books, reusable training/range materials such as range glasses and ear plugs, a firearm cleaning kit, a tourniquet (the course I attended included training on tourniquet use/"Stop The Bleed"), a USCCA hat, a travel box (I tote it to the range with me each and every time), and more! Not only was every student unexpectedly gifted these useful and essential items, but we also received an abundance of recommendations, tips, tricks, and suggestions on a variety of topics such as ammunition, accessories, holsters, ranges for practice, techniques, preferred firearm models, model upgrade options, optics, and so much more. You will leave the class confidently, knowing how to properly and safely care for and utilize your firearm. Your vocabulary surrounding firearms will reflect increased knowledge. Every question we asked received a thorough and thoughtful answer. You will learn firearm laws and understand how great of a responsibility you hold owning a firearm. You will have in-class instruction and complete the course with hands-on range time to practice all you've learned in action (expect a world-class experience during your range time as well). The classes are intimate in size (they do not offer large classes due to the nature of the instruction, and they recognize and emphasize the importance of connecting with their students) so that each student receives independent attention and care. I recommend bringing a notebook as you will take pages of notes if you are like me (they supplied us with a notepad as well)! A wonderful lunch was provided on both days, and they offered an assortment of refreshments and snacks to keep you going throughout the course, as there was a lot of information you covered. This class was offered at other facilities in the Atlanta area by alternate instructors. Still, I ultimately selected to attend this class due to the scheduled dates offered, instructor backgrounds based on my own research, the stated curriculum, and the intangible feeling of safety (as a woman and as a person of color, I am very selective with who I engage with and where I place my being) and trust I knew I would receive working with the Price Family. I additionally appreciated having a male and female instructor to work with, as Oliver and Lynette both hold value in their expertise, perspectives, and feedback. I now have a range membership at one of the recommended ranges referenced in class to maintain my teachings and build skills. (A range officer at the range I am a member of celebrated Oliver and Lynette's teachings via an observance of my range etiquette as the impact of your education and handling will be noticeable by others, and it will be clear that you confidently possess an elevated firearm experience.) I am very inspired by Mr. & Mrs. Price's knowledge, experience, passion, and presentation, and I look forward to continuing my training with the best in Atlanta/GA/US. I could go on and on, but I will conclude by stating it is an honor to be a Mr. & Mrs. Price student and to increase my proficiency and knowledge under the guidance of South Atlanta Firearms Training!​​

Oliver, Lynette, Mike and Andrew made me feel comfortable with asking questions and gave real life examples and scenarios. They all are very knowledge and I appreciate the honesty about owning a handgun. By the time I got to the range at the end of class, I was 99% more confident about how and if I was handling my handgun safely and 100% more confident that I made the right decision in attending the class. This is not a journey for civilians with no weapons knowledge. Though I had help with my handgun purchase from a retired Marine, and several times at the range with that Marine, I still wasn't comfortable with handling MY handgun by myself without 'supervision'. After this Basic Handgun class with these wonderful people, I'm 100% confident that this purchase was not in vain. I will continue to go to the range, by myself, and not wait until my Marine is available. Thank you for a wonderful fun-filled and education Saturday. I will be enrolling into Basic Handgun 2 very soon.

Oliver Price is an exceptional instructor, showcasing professionalism, extensive experience, and a thorough understanding of Georgia handgun laws. Together with Lynette and their training team, they are knowledgeable, patient, kind, and approachable. If you're new to firearms, taking his course is a must; Oliver will help you feel comfortable, answer all your questions, and instill the confidence you need to own a handgun. I plan to enroll my wife and daughter in his class. This class was outstanding!
