A BASIC FIREARMS COURSE COVERING THE UNIVERSAL SAFETY RULES AND MARKSMANSHIP FUNDAMENTALS IS A PREREQUISITE FOR THIS COURSE
Join us for the Skills & Skills Development Drills course at South Atlanta Firearms Training, where we focus on building real-world defensive shooting abilities through progressive, skill-focused drills.
This course is more than just target practice. You’ll begin with foundational mechanics and work up to dynamic drills designed to increase your aim, speed, and accuracy under stress. Whether refining your fundamentals or pushing your limits, you’ll receive explicit, personalized instruction to help you improve at every level.
What You'll Learn
This course is built around progressive shooting drills designed to help you accurately and confidently put rounds on target during high-stress defensive incidents. You’ll begin with foundational drills that strengthen core shooting mechanics and progress to more advanced marksmanship exercises that emphasize speed, precision, and decision-making under pressure.
Each drill is purpose-driven, building on the last to develop real-world skills that translate directly to personal defense scenarios. You will receive focused, actionable feedback from experienced instructors to help you improve your technique, tighten your shot groups, and elevate your performance on demand.

Cancellation Policy: In registering for class the student acknowledges they may receive text message reminders. Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a refund. Student cancellations will be assessed a 10% administration fee which will be deducted from the refund. Classes cancelled by students less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded. Students who do not show up to attend a class are not eligible for a refund but may be rescheduled if a future class is available. Students who do not attend all portions (which also includes any online learning components) of a class are not eligible for a refund but may arrange with an instructor to attend a future session if there is available class space.
