How to Recognize Severe Arterial Bleeding: Understand the difference between minor injuries and life-threatening bleeds. You’ll learn how to identify the signs of arterial bleeding and prioritize the right response.

How to Apply Direct Pressure Effectively: Learn and practice techniques for stopping bleeding with your hands, gauze, or pressure dressings. This is often the first and most immediate step you can take to save a life.

Wound Packing Techniques: When direct pressure alone isn't enough, wound packing can make all the difference. You'll receive step-by-step instruction and practice with simulated wounds.

Proper Tourniquet Application: Gain the confidence to apply a tourniquet correctly and efficiently. You’ll learn where and how to place a tourniquet, what to avoid, and how to monitor the injury afterward.

Cancellation Policy: In registering for class the student acknowledges they may receive text message reminders. Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a refund. Student cancellations will be assessed a 10% administration fee which will be deducted from the refund. Classes cancelled by students less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded. Students who do not show up to attend a class are not eligible for a refund but may be rescheduled if a future class is available. Students who do not attend all portions (which also includes any online learning components) of a class are not eligible for a refund but may arrange with an instructor to attend a future session if there is available class space.
